Trina is a Canadian writer and award-winning freelance journalist with experience covering stories in rural communities in East Africa, Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. She has traveled and worked extensively in Latin America, the Caribbean and East Africa, focusing her journalism on sustainable agriculture, food security and climate change, maternal and child health, gender equality, and stories of her travels.
