Each year, the City of Edmonton’s Office of Emergency Management organizes Get Ready in the Park during Emergency Preparedness Week. This is a free, informative and interactive event that is fun for the whole family.

The 12th annual Get Ready in the Park is on Saturday May 11 from 10am-3pm at Hawrelak Park.

🚒 Get behind the wheel of a fire truck and other emergency vehicles
🚓 Meet and talk with emergency responders from the Edmonton and Metro region
🚒 Learn how to prepare for a variety of emergencies

The event also covers hunger emergencies – there will be a variety of Edmonton food trucks on site.

Parking at the event is limited. ETS will provide free bus shuttle service at Windsor Car Park for passengers attending Get Ready in the Park.
